Privacy notice
This notice covers what Silicosis Claims collects, why, who gets it, and what requests you can make of us about it. Granite Claims Partners Inc. runs Silicosis Claims.
Information we collect
- The review form asks for your name, your phone number, the state you worked in, what type of job brought you into contact with dust, and whether a doctor has ever said you may have silicosis. Along with that, we keep the consent sentence you agreed to, the page it came from, when you sent it, your IP address and the type of browser you use.
- Calls: if you phone (844) 387-9991, our phone system keeps a record of the number that rang us, the moment of the call and how long it lasted. A notice plays first, and the call may then be recorded to give the attorney's office a faithful record of what you said.
- Server logs: standard request logs (browser, page, IP address) are kept by our host, as with any website, to count visits and for security.
No outside tracking scripts are used, and no cookies for advertising or analytics. The state you chose on the home page may be saved by your browser, and the choice stays local on your device.
Your health details
Anything you tell us about your health gets treated as if HIPAA applied. We ask for the least we can, keep it encrypted, keep it out of web addresses and analytics, and it goes only to the law firm that reviews your claim.
Sharing your details
Your form answers and call records are shared with one law firm advertising on Silicosis Claims, so that firm can reach you about your claim. Data brokers never get your details from us, because we do not sell them. Under contract, service providers process data for us; they run the phone line and host the site. If the law requires it, we may hand data over.
Rights you can use
Wherever in the US you live, you can ask which details we hold about you, have them corrected or deleted, and stop any sale or sharing of them. California residents hold these rights under the CCPA and CPRA. Texas, Utah, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and several other states give their residents similar ones. Go to the Do Not Sell or Share page or email office@silicosis.claims. We treat everyone the same, whether or not they use these rights.
Time we keep your details
We hold form and call details just long enough to review your claim and meet legal duties, and then they're deleted.
Attorney Advertising
Silicosis Claims counts as Attorney Advertising. The company is not a law firm, and getting in touch with it doesn't form an attorney-client relationship.
